For those of you still in front of your computers on Friday afternoon before the long weekend, Business 2.0’s "Future Boy" has a great column on a countercultural influence — best exemplified by the Burning Man festival currently raging on in the Nevada desert — on commercial technology. Google’s Larry Page and Sergey Brin are die-hards, as Future Boy points out, and the out-of-the-box thinking and engineering that keep people alive, nourished and sheltered during the festivities are representative of the innovation we’ll continue to see throughout the tech world.
