Sean Greene is moving into a digital leadership role at R.H. Donnelley, transitioning from his most recent role as senior vice president of strategy and business development into the new position of SVP Interactive. Greene plans to move from RHD headquarters in North Carolina to Santa Monica, California, where RHD’s interactive group is based (a result of the Business.com acquisition).

The SVP Interactive post essentially replaces the title of president of RHD interactive. Brian Barnum, the current occupant of that post, will leave the company at the end of August. Barnum came to RHD through the Business.com acquisition.

According to an RHD spokesperson, the move was made to “more tightly align our interactive efforts with the rest of our organization — thus providing a better local search solution for our advertisers and experience for consumers.”

Greene is a 17-year Yellow Pages industry veteran who has been in the middle of online strategy at RHD for some time, having previously held the position of vice president of interactive strategy, product management and business development.
