SeniorChecked, a national network that aids seniors with choosing trustworthy local service providers, is partnering with FirstLight HomeCare, a national franchise that provides non-medical in-home care for seniors. We spoke with SeniorChecked CEO Chris Spanos about trends in the local verification space and how partnering with national franchises will grow his business.
Spanos is selective about partnerships. “We want to feel like it would be a good partner, a business that is committed to the community and can communicate trust,” Spanos said. Under the deal, SeniorChecked enables FirstLight HomeCare franchisees the opportunity to demonstrate trustworthiness. As a result of distinguishing itself from less reputable providers in the vertical space, franchisees should see more qualified business.
SeniorChecked gains greater access to FirstLight’s franchise base. Having more members in its directory also makes SeniorChecked more helpful to seniors, its consumer audience. Spanos expects more local service providers to jump into the verification space as a value proposition to consumers.
