The ILM West 2012 conference, the mega-event we are holding Dec.4-6 in LA, keeps building and building.

We announced the keynotes early: YP CEO David Krantz; CityGrid CEO Jason Finger; Google Global Channel Partners GM Todd Rowe and Facebook Global SMB head Dan Levy. We’ve got an especially big announcement lined up for later this week (fingers crossed).

We also couldn’t be more excited about presenting two of the most progressive newspaper publishers: Jim Moroney III of The Dallas Morning News and Mike Hodges of UT San Diego (formerly The San Diego Union Tribune.)

Since we last touched base, we’ve now populated several cutting-edge sessions that really define where we’re going with local marketing online and in mobile. We’ve got some of the best vets in the space coming, and a lot of new blood, too (thanks in part to our Future Stars program).

We’re especially excited about a National/Local Advertiser Superforum that will define what advertisers such as UHaul, represented by Director Elnora Cunningham, are really doing and what matters to them.

Marchex VP Ziad Ismail, Telmetrics CEO Bill Dinan, Contact Point CEO Jason Wells and Ring Revenue CEO Jason Spievak will share their insights during an in-depth Day 3 session. Representing local advertisers: Maja (“Maria”) Kermath, who is applying all the smarts she gained as head of business development at AT&T to her new, Austin-based small business.

The four part “New Promotions Landscape Superforum” on Day 2 has also developed beautifully. After some highlights from our foundation paper, we’ll talk to Constant Contact/SaveLocal VP Dave Gilbertson; Second Street Media CEO Matt Coen on the broader promotions space; Five Stars CEO Victor Ho and Closely CEO Perry Evans on Loyalty; and Cox Target Media/ValPak President Michael Vivio and Savings.com CEO Loren Bendele will share their veteran and important perspective on the space.

Our session on Social Business Innovators also will be a big deal at the event. This is clearly an area we need to get right as an industry. We have a number of leading doers and thinkers on the session, including our super-smart friend Matthew Berk, who will debut some of the ideas behind Lucky Oyster, his new company; Former Merchant Circle exec Darren Waddell, who is now SVP, Payvment; Hearsay Social VP Mark Gilbert; and MoonTide Media CEO Todd Klawin (who has quite a remarkable service that he will talk about).

That’s just the tip of the iceberg. Check out the whole agenda . And sign up today to beat the coming rate increase.
