Autos has traditionally been a leading category in mobile — for consumer usage, ad dollars, and auto shopping apps. Cars.com (just acquired by Gannett) has been a leader, shifting focus largely to mobile in real life and in its iconic Super Bowl commercials.

The industry leading AutoTrader has likewise embraced mobile in lots of ways. At our May Leading in Local conference, we got to talk to mobile director Jose Puente to find out how. That includes targeting and capturing the interest of in-market car shoppers.
