We’re trying something new. To stimulate discussion around our new favorite topic — the local on-demand economy (LODE) — we’re holding a live analyst roundtable this Friday.

BIA/Kelsey NOW co-chair Mitch Ratcliffe and I will discuss all of the factors driving this exploding area of local commerce. That includes lots of demand-side factors like urbanization, generational attitudes and of course the growth of mobile. And on the supply side, LODE is stimulating the “1099 economy.”

As for format, think of this as a cross between an analyst roundtable and a webinar. But instead of static slides, we’ll have lots of animation and personality through live split screen of our LODE dialogue. We’ll be taking audience questions too, via GoToWebinar and Twitter (#biakelseyLIVE).
